Brief bio
Dr. Zoya Heidari is an associate professor and the holder of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation Centennial Fellowship #1 in Petroleum Engineering at UT Austin since 2016. She has been the founder and the director of The University of Texas at Austin Industrial Affiliates Research Program on “Multi-Scale Rock Physics” since 2016.
Dr. Heidari has supervised twenty four graduate students since 2011 and published more than 130 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Her current research interests include Petrophysics, Borehole, Geophysics, Well Logging, Formation Evaluation, Rock Physics, Inverse Problems, and Integrated Reservoir Characterization of Carbonates and Unconventional Resources.
