Dr Eric Van Oort is the B.J. Lancaster Professor and George H. Fancher Professor in Petroleum Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin and is an active member of Industry affiliate program like CODA. His areas of interest include well construction, drilling automation, remote command &control, NPT/ILT mitigation, rock-fluid interactions, wellbore geomechanics, drilling fluid design, zonal isolation, fit-for-purpose rigs, hydraulic fracturing and water management
